Meet Melissa Galligan at Novacare Medical in East Bridgewater, MA

Melissa Galligan is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner.

For over 10 years, Melissa has gained both educational and clinical experience working in a variety of clinical settings. The majority of Melissa’s nursing career has been in an emergency department setting but she also has experience in medical surgical nursing and home care settings. Melissa’s career path has led her to care for patients across the lifespan providing comprehensive patient care for individuals with acute and chronic illnesses.

Melissa graduated with her Associate of Science in Nursing from Labouré College, her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Massachusetts Boston and then she continued on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Melissa believes that her strong clinical judgment, ability to advocate for patients and families as well as her expertise in being a part of a team that allows her to provide competent and dignified care.
